Flame stakes light up sales

Smart Solar’s Crackle Flame Stake Lights have been selling particularly well in garden centres in this Olympic year. The glass lights are reminiscent of the Olympic flame, although their popularity is probably more due to the lights being a quality product at a particularly competitive price.

The flame shaped light, which sits on a stainless steel stake, has a colour changing LED that is powered by an integral solar panel and illuminates at dusk, perfect for marking pathways by day and night.

Sold in a POS unit that contains 20 units for easy picking and purchasing, the Crackle Flame Stake Lights can be stacked on the floor or placed on a shelf to suit the individual garden centre.

Jonathan Stobart, Smart Solar’s managing director, commented, “These Crackle Flame Stake Lights are one of our best selling lines this spring, helped by the new merchandising units, which have been well received by garden centres and consumers alike.”
